almanak penggenggam sang hujan

setelah sekian lama menghela nafas di khayangan,
saatnya ku turun main layangan,
setelah sekian lama mengulum rindu mengucap janji,
saatnya ku rebah dalam sembah,

bulir keringat beradu sendu,
tak pelak hadir pula sang waktu.
menggelinjang manja
menggoda.

berdiri bulu kakiku,
menyambut luapan air.
banjir.

Careful of the flowery words.. 8'))

Taken Form Coelho, The Alchemist, page 30 on pdf format.

I’m so extremely sure you are familiar enough with this..
"When you want something, all the universe conspires to help you achieve it," the old king had said.

And it’s so extremely indisputable you are moved by with that..

((( B U T  W A I T ... )))

( ( (  W  A  I  T  ) ) )

You also have to read the next string of words satisfying the grammatical rules of a language.

" ... But the old king hadn't said anything about being robbed, or about endless deserts, or about people who know what their dreams are but don't want to realize them. The old king hadn't told him that the Pyramids were just a pile of stones, or that anyone could build one in his backyard. And he had forgotten to mention that, when you have enough money to buy a flock larger than the one you had before, you should buy it ..."

Something good is actually worth the wait, worth the fight, and worth the result. It’s not as easy as flipping a hand. It’s your positive energy towards your keenness that will render your magical dream into reality.

MASSIVE BLESS and GOOD LUCK!

Sekaten, Mamensky! :D

HAIL O', 2014!

today's awesome! a pretty good beginning to start the voyage thru :))
I spent the first day in 2014 hanging out with my friends and parents. this glorious day was way too precious to get washed away. I extremely need to cut out all the negative energy from the past year. 2013 has passed. ups and downs, they're all completely gone. NAMASTE. _/\_

after hundreds of centuries, I finally revisited the famous SEKATEN. it was worth to visit, especially for wayfarers. thanks a bunch for @pemiapeak @cepty22 and tika who have taken me there, TWICE. HAHA!

I know it's kind of unreliable to grab information from wikipedia, but I'm lil' tired to type long and winding words. lol. you may find out what on earth is SEKATEN in here.

here are some pictures I took there, :P

the crowd, MAAAN!

"Es Dawet Pak (m)Bolon" a must visit food stall.

"Prau Otok-Otok" put some kerosene in, light it up, and you have your boat! oh and it's worth for Rp 8.000,-

assorted clay piggy bank, must have items. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

The Notorious Wheel. Don't ask me how fast it spins. :|

Merry-go-round! (This one's my fave, because it's the SAFEST one! man, I'm so optionless. BLIMEY!)

(((SERIOUSLY)))

in between the troops, Tika and Septy..

an unbearable degree of sentimentality: note to self

It's no use crying over spilled milk, so...
Don't cry over spilled milk.

Do not be upset about making a mistake, since you cannot change that now.

Being upset over something that has already happened and cannot be changed.

Getting upset over certain things, like the spilled milk, it's DEFINITELY not going to fix any-single-stupid-thing.

cool-MEW-nation :))

H A P P Y  M E W  D A Y

for frengers all over Indonesia!!!

it was the MEW-est day we have been waiting for long. it was a final climactic stage when MEW ultiMEWtely came to see us in person for the fourth times (? - citation needed - wikipedia mode: on. LOL). at the core stake, i'd like to praise the almighty TWITTER, for making us tweeted not only craps but also spreading glorious news about Mew's upcoming shows.

I remembered the day when I came across a tweet saying that Mew had confirmed their show in Indonesia. it was a lame and dull afternoon. i was in my homie lil townie, spending my summer break (ahelahh :P) I just couldn't believe my own eyes! was it real? man! been 3 years since their last show in Kenjeran, Soerabaia! i dashed to my room and immediately texted my partner in criMEW. Angela Dias. WOOHOO! we're gonna throw a parteeeeeeehh! I bought the presale ticket on the day as it was tweeted by @SoundRhytm if i'm not mistaken it was on 27th of June '13. i could only say to myself, "Geez, seriously, it'll be like waiting for forever until October 26th! Man!"

counting down the days until October 26th wasn't as easy as I thought. periods of positive and negative events, moods or interactions happened. the best and the worst. even the worst mare. the bitter and the sweet. Tinged with sadness. it was an interval like a movie with a bittersweet ending. i flew too high, way too high and when I fell down, it hurt me so much. filled with disregard. instilled with an abrupt change of my image. well, we made mistake once in a while, righty? July ran smoothly, August was scummy. September was quite somber. OK-tober? it's the time to say OK to every single thing!

the D day has arrived, I could barely wait to go to the venue. the day before, one of my fellow frengers informed me that there'll be a meet and greet session with MEW and d'nassivep. I couldn't make it, alas. it was my office hour and I couldn't go anywhere. other frengers started posting their photos with MEW members. oh how lucky you guys are! so happy for yahh :))

things didn't go as i've planned. some senior teachers impelled me to go their party far far away in cisauk, gosh! seriously! i wouldn't be able to catch a train to jakarta! crapcrapcrap. i was off to jakarta like at 5, and the traffic was MENTAL! it took me an hour to go from BSD to Alam Sutra, which is only 5 or 7 km. i was so desperate at that moment. the tix would be expired at 7 pm. i thought i wouldn't make it..........

it was app 7.30 when I arrived. the queue line was way awful. we lined up. right at our back stood two female bules. they looked confuse. one of them finally asked me, "mba, maaf, bisa bahasa inggris?" i just surprised and giggled. they are kate from england and angela from US. they're exchange students embarking their bachelor degree on socio-culture at UNES Semarang. they came all the way from Semarang to watch One Republic. they even asked me "who is MEW? Indonesian band?" oh well.. =______= "they're Danish.." i bet they never heard of it before, they're quite 'mainstream'. hehe.

we entered the venue at 8.30 pm. we missed club 8 but that's ok, since i only knew two songs of club 8, which are 'Whatever you want' and 'I would never' :P to my surprise, One Republic was outstanding. they had a marvelous live performance. fyi, i just noticed that Ryan Tedder is OneRep's vox soon before i went to Guinness Arthur's Day :P muehehe.. his vocal's got constant stability.high pitch and was just awesome. he's quite communicative, tho. he even said two impeccable things about Jakarta: it was quite beautiful, and the traffic was just crazy. he never saw motorcycles raced all over the place, in between cars, even on pavements! he also made funny gestures about this. he said Penne, Italy, shares the same typical of motorcycle riders like we have in Jakarta. :D

my watch showed 11.00 pm as the end result of a succession, when MEW's performed. The crowd was right under the spell of "Making Friends", "Special" and "The Zookeeper's Boy" and the rest of the set list I could hardly remember since I was busy ENJOYING ONE OF THE MOST PRECIOUS TIME IN MY WHOLE LIFE. since that time, i have decided to be a full time LIFE ENJOYER. ;))

*oh and by the way, I got editted this post and found a picture of MEW setlist live @ GAD. courtesy of @indofrengers :))

Lucid Dream: Dream the Lucidity

Bedar, the Watchman, caught Nasrudin prising open the window of his own bedroom from the outside, in the depths of night.
“What are you doing, Mulla? Locked out?”
“Hush! They say I walk in my sleep. I am trying to surprise myself and find out.”

Dreaming is more like world making than like letter writing. Why do we have to dream of something? is it important to have a vivid bound between dreams and reality? hahaha, let's ask Richard Sanderson who sang "Reality" in which said, "dreams are my reality. the only kind of real fantasy.."

And if, as we have seen, an uninterpreted dream isn't like an unopened letter, then what is it like? Having demolished a popular proverb, let us replace it with another, that seems to come closer to doing the dream justice: "an uninterpreted dream is like an uninterpreted poem".

Dreams have much more in common with poems than they do with letters. The word poem is derived from a Greek very meaning to create, and what's more to argue that the essence of dreaming is closer to creation than to communication. Are all poems equally worth interpreting? Are all poems equally coherent, effective, or worth reading? If you wrote a dozen poems a night every night of your life, what do you suppose you would find among your several hundred thousand poems. All masterpieces? Not likely. All trash? Not likely either. What you would expect is that among great piles of trivial doggerel, there would be a smaller pile of excellent poems, but no more than a handful or perfect masterpieces. When you have to do five or six shows every night, many of them are likely to lack inspiration. It is true that you can cultivate your dream life so that the time you spend there will grow more rewarding as the years pass. But why should you expect that every one of your dreams is worth taking the time to interpret? And yet, if a poem or a dream calls out to you to interpret it, by all means find out what it means.

awkey, well then. i'll see you soon, mates! don't push yourself way too hard, or else limbo awaits! cheerio!
