almanak penggenggam sang hujan

setelah sekian lama menghela nafas di khayangan,
saatnya ku turun main layangan,
setelah sekian lama mengulum rindu mengucap janji,
saatnya ku rebah dalam sembah,

bulir keringat beradu sendu,
tak pelak hadir pula sang waktu.
menggelinjang manja
menggoda.

berdiri bulu kakiku,
menyambut luapan air.
banjir.

This is My Society. How's Yours?

Society.
Being raised bounded to the "materialism" and "wealth" believes.
Someone is success if he or she accomplishes such level of wealthiness.
Someone is success if he or she is in the state of being rich and affluent; having a plentiful supply of material goods and money.
Someone is success if he or she has majestic property that has economic utility: a monetary value or an exchange value.
Someone is success if he or she has an abundance of material possessions and resources.

I, you, we, they
are
fascinated of the glimmering money and social status.

The gaps between the haves and the have-nots are in to a limb.

The green-eyed monsters are splattered all-around the isles of islands.

The joyless-eyed paupers are dashed hastily into the minuscule holes.

People are in a rush to compete who's having what.

Coup,

Why can't we just enjoy what we have now?

RWD: Cascading Thru the Window Sill..

This afternoon
This foolishly over-flown thought
This ambiguous idea
This idea of you and I

Across the sea.

#GreatWriters: C. Rajagopalachari

Chakravarti Rajagopalachari, popularly known as "Rajaji" or "C. R.", was a great patriot, astute politician, incisive thinker, and one of the greatest statesman. A close associate of Mahatma Gandhi, he was an ardent freedom fighter. In his capacity successively as Chief Minister of Madras, Governor of West Bengal, Home Minister and the first Indian Governor General of India he rendered yeoman service to the country and left an indelible impress on our contemporary life.

Rajaji's books on Marcus Aurelius, the Bhagavad Gita and the Upanishads are popular. But in Mahabharata he displays his inimitable flair for telling stories and applying their moral to the needs of modern times. The stories were originally written in Tamil and rendered into English, mainly by Rajaji himself. To have preserved the beauty and spirit of the great  original in refined and simple English is an achievement of the highest order.

Rajaji passed away in 1972 at the age of 94.

*as it is written at the back cover of Rajaji's English rendered Mahabharata published by The Bhavan, 1985.

A Hiatus: A Missing Piece

Hello, there! How have you been up to? It's been a-long-while since my last post. Work has just gone cray-cray these days. I'd really like to post, but what? The idea seems to go lacking of stimulating characteristics. Only mere pointless mental cognition. I suck-ccessfully posted ONE post up until before this!!! Crap, this is so PATHETIC. some of my thoughts just ended up being immature drafts.

Regardless the jittery deeds I did which resulted in a fluctuation of my questioned maturity, I was like, you know, normal people, tried to get rid of them all in a single blow. On Monday, I got the chance to drop by to a bookshop nearby. A friend of mine told me that he bought couple of great books there with such an affordable price. It was quite surprising for me that this bookshop is also an antique shop. There are some gigantic bookshelves around the room and piles of categorized books all over the place. (I'd better take picture later on!) There I got the chance to enhance my book collections, I bought an Indian epic, Mahabharata, translated to English by C. Rajagopalachari and published by Bhavan's Book University. I also bought an Asiapac Comic Series entitled "The Book of Zen" edited and illustrated by Tsai Chih Chung and translated to English by Koh Kok Kiang. Lastly, I found an interesting book of Zen written by Jon Winokur. It's entitled "Zen to Go" a worthy thoughts in handy chunks.

Well, hope you guys have a great valuable timmy timey.
xx
